If made well, the clasp is durable. Nothing to worry about losing one because they hold together well and won't bend. I think this is good. The stone in the bottom part of the ring is firmly held and does not move. The stone does not hang down. It is permanently affixed in the earring post that passes through the ear.

These are the second set of these earrings I have purchased. I have one myself and gifted the other. These earrings are simply amazing to look at as well as very comfortable to wear. Due to the lever back clasps in them, there is nothing to be worried about the loss of these earrings.
